Introduction

This document is a quick guide to using some of the exciting features of Desktop On-Schedule v6.2. This version of Desktop On-Schedule has been expanded and now includes the following functions that enhance all of the On-Schedule Products.

Note: Please refer to the On-Schedule for Handheld PC section for more information on the common features between the two products.

Requirements: Windows 98/SE/ME/2000/XP/NT4 or higher. Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher

On-Schedule allows you to create a desktop environment utilizing docking windows, which gives you quick access to the information you need.

Mail Merge

On-Schedule makes it easy to merge documents for E-Mail, Faxes, and Other Documents. On-Schedule allows you to track these actions in the Journal entry for the contact. Mail Merge gives you the luxury of creating form letters, mailing labels, envelopes, and catalogs in a more efficient and effective manner. An example: one can create fields and can be addressed as (Mr. Gerald LaSalle) and in the salutation of a form letter (Dear Mr. LaSalle) or (Dear Gerald) or fields such as Title, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Country, County etc. The unique thing is that all you do is enter the data once into its fields and it is saved and you can use that same data to create labels, catalogs, or future letters. Thus, it eliminates the chances of making errors or mistakes when writing or typing entities of letters. This sophisticated technique is way to approach when you want to write one letter to many recipients in a timely fashion manner.

On-Schedule Insert Fields Dialog Box makes it easy to create the document you need with all the useful fields for your contacts.

Import/ Export Files

On-Schedule makes it easy to exchange files for use in other applications. The Import Dialog Box allows you to use templates for your import files, set the Delimiters and File Options as well.

Import Field Mapping allows you to view the field information on your imported files

On-Schedule Export Dialog Box makes is easy to add the fields, Delimiters, and Export Options you need for your files.
