SAN DIEGO, CA, February 10th, 1997 - Odyssey Computing announced that Pocket On-Schedule® for Windows® CE will be available in March 1997 and is now optimized for the soon to be released Hewlett-Packard 300LX and 320LX palmtop PCs. Pocket On-Schedule is a powerful and easy-to-use Contact and Information Manager for the Microsoft® Windows® CE platform. It includes many of the robust features currently available in its desktop versions, On-Schedule 97 and On-Schedule Personal 97 for Windows 95/NT.To take advantage of the unique 640 x 240 screen of the HP Palmtop PC, Pocket On-Schedule features customizable layouts that enable more contact information to be displayed on the screen. With corporate customers like Hewlett-Packard Co. already using the desktop version of On-Schedule for their contact management needs, Pocket On-Schedule adds another dimension to their portable computing solutions.

Although Windows CE Handheld PCs are shipped with an Information Manager to store phone numbers and addresses, many mobile professionals will require more features than those available with Information Manager. Pocket On-Schedule’s features are a result of direct feedback from experienced mobile professionals who expressed that they cannot live without the flexibility of customizable layouts or the ability to support multiple phone books. Those features along with phone call and e-mail logging, versatile synchronization preferences, direct integration with Pocket Word make Pocket On-Schedule an indispensable tool for mobile professionals using Windows CE.

Pocket On-Schedule is not only fully compatible with its On-Schedule 97 desktop companion products but also with other major PIMs and Contact Managers. Pocket On-Schedule integrates with IntelliSync™ and Desktop To Go™ allowing full synchronization with Act!, GoldMine, Ecco Pro, Lotus Organizer, etc. Users will be able to automatically synchronize contact databases, appointments, and tasks between the Handheld PC and the desktop PC bi-directionally. The synchronization process will update the data files on both the Handheld PC and the desktop PC in a single step.

Availability
Pocket On-Schedule is expected to ship in March 1997 at the estimated street price of $69.95. Single copy licenses, multi-copy licenses, site licenses, and reseller discounts are available directly from Odyssey Computing. A FREE trial version of Pocket On-Schedule is available directly from Odyssey and on the CD-ROM that is shipped with the HP palmtop PCs.
