SAN DIEGO, CA, January 14th, 1997 - Odyssey computing announces Pocket On-Schedule® for Microsoft® Windows® CE, a powerful contact and information manager for mobile professionals while on the road, at the office, or at home. Outdistancing the Handheld PC’s embedded PIM in power and performance, Pocket On-Schedule offers robust features including unlimited databases, dialing support, Internet access, direct e-mail, call/e-mail logging, contact information templates and customizable layouts. Pocket On-Schedule is not only fully compatible with its On-Schedule 97 desktop companion products but also with other major PIMs and Contact Managers. Users will be able to automatically synchronize contact databases between the Handheld PC and the desktop PC bi-directionally. The synchronization will update the data files on both the handheld PCs and the desktop PCs in a single step.

In the past, desktop users had to choose between desktop or handheld computing since synchronizing data between desktop PCs and handhelds was fairly complex. Now using Pocket On-Schedule, there is no more compromise. Users do not have to duplicate their work and will be efficient and productive on both desktops and handhelds.

Availability

Pocket On-Schedule is expected to ship in March 1997 at an estimated street price of US $69.95. Single copy licenses, multi-copy licenses, site licenses, and reseller discounts are available directly from Odyssey Computing.
